The San Francisco 49ers took amazing strides in the 2011 season. With Jon Harbaugh at the helm, the team was completely rejuvenated, and even with many of the same players along for the ride, they played entirely different. Their new coach and their new attitude took them all the way to the NFC Conference Championship game, where they came up short in a tough overtime loss to the New York Giants.
