At the beginning of the season, many people would have thought that a New England vs. Philadelphia match-up would be a preview for an almost inevitable Super Bowl showdown. Things haven't quite worked out that way coming into week 12. The Patriots are cruising right now but started a bit slowly, and are one of several strong contenders in the AFC. The Eagles of course had an absolutely miserable start to the year and are just barely hanging on to the tiniest hopes of a playoff berth.
